  1. Here's a cough carrot recipe from my great grandmother, my mum used to make it during the winter months whenever we had a cough. It’s a very safe remedy for children and the whole family and totally delicious.

    Thinly slice an organic carrot into a ceramic bowl.
    Sprinkle organic unrefined brown sugar over the carrots until they are lightly but completely covered.
    Cover and leave over night (not in the fridge).
    The next day you have a delicious light cough syrup.
    Take a dessert spoon 3 times a day.
