The oil that brings you up when you are down and calms you down when you are stressed.  Ylang Ylang promotes positivity, making it a useful natural anti-depressant. The feelings of joy it creates can be often felt on opening the bottle. It is so effective that traditionally it has been used for centuries to reduce high blood pressure. It is thought to regulate the flow of adrenaline, which slows its effects and thus reducing stress, anger, panic, fear and shock.

On the skin Ylang ylang balances the sebaceous glands, making it a good oil for all skin types. It is very beneficial for acne as it draws out the impurities within the spot thus reducing the spread of the acne infection.

Ylang ylang is also associated with fertility, it is said that it is a tonic for the womb and helps with impotence.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use neat on the skin. Rather potent, best used in low dilutions.
