  1. Skincare Awareness Week

    Posted on

This week is Skincare Awareness Week so Jorj and I each wanted to share advice to help you look after your skin.

Me: Good skin is healthy skin! We must take care of our skin from the inside out
as well as from the inside in. By creating the best possible environment for
healthy skin to thrive we are fighting away premature aging and prolonging
our natural youthfulness. Sleep well, eat well and try not to worry too much
about the small things in life, no skincare brand can give you the results
    you will get from this!

Jorj: For men, use every opportunity to generate healthy skin.
For instance whilst applying shaving gel or cream use it as a medium to give
    yourself a face massage.
Using circular motions in an upward direction, massage along the jaw line
    and your natural beard line.
Quick, easy and done in a minute or two will achieve increased blood flow,
firmer jaw muscle and even give you a better shave!
Perform post shaving with moisturiser or face oil for a longer lasting
    effect.

    SUPER HERO

    REJUVENATING & PLUMPING POTION

    Organic and 100% natural

A super potent potion composed of antioxidants and natural vitamins from Siberian Ginseng, English Pomegranate and Italian Grapefruit. Designed to inject life into the skin, giving it a natural plumped and glowing appearance.

The naturally derived form of Hyaluronic Acid is an amazing moisturising agent that transforms skin, giving it a smoother texture and younger feel.

The addition of a natural topical Prebiotic works towards balancing the skin’s natural microflora, ensuring a clear complexion.

    How does it work:
Pomegranate is high in ellagic acid, it is a powerful scavenger of free radicals, and extremely effective in increasing the body’s own built-in antioxidant, glutathione, which in turn helps protect the DNA in cells from free radical damage. Ellagic acid is also thought to strengthen the cell membrane, making it less susceptible to free radical damage and preventing water loss from the cell.

Siberian Ginseng extract consists primarily of the complex polysaccharides and associated glycoproteins from the Siberian Ginseng Root. It is a skin-tightening ingredient that can help to physically 'lift' sagging skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The use of Siberian Ginseng Extract is totally safe and non-invasive.

Our Hyaluronic Acid is made by producing enzymes from a bacteria-based biofermentation process and NOT sourced from animals. Hyaluronic acid is what gives the skin its volume and fullness. It is one of the chief components of the extracellular skin matrix and it contributes significantly to cell proliferation. Aging can result in the loss of hyaluronic acid, which in turn results in skin that has less volume and the formation of wrinkles and folds.

Grapefruit tones the skin and helps to clear oily and congested skin as well as acne, It eases muscles fatigue and general stiffness.

How to use: It may be applied directly to freshly cleansed skin and followed with moisturiser.
For better results, do a deep facial massage using Alexandra Soveral’s facial oils and massage instructions. Once the circulation is stimulated and all oil has been absorbed by the skin, apply a few drops of Super Hero. This process will allow for a more efficient delivery system deep into the skin. Moisturiser may be applied if desired.

  3. Bespoke Mothers Day Blend

    Posted on

All our bespoke face & body oils are formulated with a synergetic blend of essential oils to meet our client’s personal requirements. They are nourishing and their scent is perfectly balanced, giving them a sophisticated and luxurious feel; the perfect gift to spoil our mum’s with!

Our bespoke oils work both from an therapeutic aspect, offering relief from many emotional and physical conditions as well as purely sensory pleasure, from my 15 years of practising Aromatherapy I have found the best way of finding out what our bodies need is to simply follow our noses... whatever essential oils we are drawn to is what our bodies need.

Do you know what your mother likes? Is it wild flowers, roses or geraniums? Or is she keen on fresh citrus scents? Maybe she’s more into herbs or earthy notes.

Don’t panic if can’t remember anything specific, help is at hand, Sarah (my in-house very gifted Aromatherapist) and I will blend something suitable for your mum, just send us a couple of sentences about her or use our Bespoke Oil Order Form and we’ll suggest a blend for your approval. You may also decide to give her a Gift Voucher for the Bespoke Oil so that she may choose the blend herself.

This is Sarah in action creating a Rose and Orange blend...
